GARDIMAX MEDICA LEMON SPRAY is a complex preparation intended for use in the relief of pain associated with inflammation or irritation during inflammation of the mouth and throat. It contains two active substances that guarantee the effectiveness of the drug. It has a pleasant lemon flavor.
Action
Gardimax medica Lemon spray is an aerosol to be applied to the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. The action of the drug consists of 2 active substances:
- Lidocaine, as a local anesthetic, reduces the sensitivity of sensory nerve endings in the area of application.
- Chlorhexidine has bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties, especially against gram-positive and, to a lesser extent, gram-negative bacteria. It also has an antifungal effect against Candida albicans. It works by inhibiting the activity of membrane enzymes of the above-mentioned microorganisms and disrupting the permeability of the membrane to potassium, amino acids and nucleotides.
Dosage
Adults and children from 12 years of age: 3 to 5 doses once, 6 to 10 times a day.
Children from 30 months of age: 2 to 3 doses once, 3 to 5 times a day.
Use for 3 – 4 days. If, after this time, symptoms persist or worsen, see your doctor.
Preparation for topical application within the oral cavity.
Take between meals.
Before the first use, spray the product into the air several times. Apply to the diseased area of the mucosa, avoiding touching it with the dispenser.
Composition:
1 dose of aerosol contains 0.18 mg of chlorhexidine digluconate solution and 0.04 mg of lidocaine hydrochloride.
Other substances: Lemon flavor, sucralose (E 955), glycerol, propylene glycol, citric acid monohydrate, ethanol.
